Photo Story: Leah Sherry's Sudder Street Reunion
22 images Created 8 Jun 2011
In June of 2009 I documented Leah Sherry's return to Sudder Street, in the city of Kolkata (Calcutta), India.
Leah had spent a couple of years with a group of kids on Sudder Street in her early 20's.
She had lost touch with the kids she loved for seven years, and needed to travel to Kolkata to see if they were still there. They were all still there, the youngest was now 17, the oldest now 24.
Sudder Street is the neighborhood made known to the world by Mother Teresa's work with the 'poorest of the poor'.
